Security Risks
Why did I see a “Security Risk” warning on a message?
At Camplify, we take your safety seriously. To help protect you from potential scams, spam, or phishing attempts, we’ve introduced automated message screening.
What does the “Security Risk” warning mean?
It means our system has detected that the message may include content that could be risky, such as:
- Personal contact details
- Banking information
- Suspicious links or language
In these cases, we show a warning alert or, in rare cases, block the message entirely to protect you.
Why does Camplify do this?
Online fraud can take many forms. These safeguards are in place to:
- Prevent users from sharing sensitive personal or financial details
- Protect you from phishing attempts or off-platform scams
- Maintain secure communication within the Camplify platform
We partner with industry-leading tools (including AI models) to help identify potentially harmful messages. If something doesn’t feel right, trust your instincts — and our systems are here to help too.
Why can’t I see the exact reason or thresholds?
To keep our security systems effective, we don’t disclose the exact rules or scores used to flag messages. Sharing that kind of detail could help malicious users work around them.
What we can say is: these checks are applied equally to all users, and with your safety in mind.
Can I reply to the message anyway?
Yes, if the message is visible and you feel comfortable doing so. Just remember:
Always keep communication on-platform, and never share your phone number, email, or payment details.
If a message is blocked and you believe it was done in error, please contact our support team — we’re happy to investigate.
