Will you do a DVLA check on my licence?
Yes. DVLA checks are performed on all drivers hiring through Camplify. An RV will not be sent out on hire without the successful completion of this step.
Please note Owners who are using their own insurance may perform these driving licence checks directly with you once the deposit has been paid.
In order to be eligible to be a driver on a booking with Camplify's insurance, you and any authorised drivers must be within the ages of 25 to 75 years of age and have a full valid licence that is not subject to any restriction or condition. In order to be eligible to drive the van, you and any authorised driver must have not accumulated more than 6 points in minor offences, or any major offence (i.e. - no convictions coded AC, BA, CD10-90, DD, DR, IN, LC30-50, MS40-90, UT, TT99) during the past five years, have any prosecution pending or have been involved in no more than two accidents in the preceding three years. The driver must also have held a UK, EU, EEA, AU, or NZ License in the required driving category for the van (usually B or C1) for a minimum of 2 years.
