How do I add an additional driver?

It is free and easy to add an additional driver to your Camplify booking.

In order to do this, we will need to check the additional driver’s driving licence meets our insurance requirements. This is to ensure the additional driver is fully covered by our damage protection cover policy.

Please remember, for bookings with Camplify's Flex Insurance, we can only accept driving licences from the UK, EU, EEA, Australia, and New Zealand.

The additional driver must complete the following steps:

Step1

Create a Camplify account and complete ALL fields.

Step 2

Send an email to support@camplify.co.uk from the newly registered email. The email should include the additional driver’s DVL Summary and the DVL check code if you have a UK licence. Check out how to get the required details here.
Drivers holding an international driving licence must provide different details, please click here for more details.

*The subject of the email should include the booking ID.

Step 3

If the additional driver meets all our insurance requirements, Camplify will confirm the licence verification to the additional driver and the owner by email.

Please note that if the owner of the RV has his own insurance for the booking, the licence verification is made by the owner but Camplify still needs to be notified and a complete Camplify profile still needs to be created for the additional driver.
