Do you offer Damage Protection cover?
Yes we do. Every van listed on Camplify must have damage protection cover in place in order to hire it out. This is the owner's responsibility. Many insurance companies will not cover your van when it's out on hire, so we are working with an industry-leading insurance provider, Allianz, to offer a customised product for our members.
The following criteria must be met:
- Owners must be over 25 and under 75 years old
- Owners registered as a business may only list maximum five van
- There is a maximum of five vans under private ownership
- Vehicles no older than 20 years
- Campervans/Motorhomes must be no greater than 7.5T GVW
- Max value £75,000 (GBP) – a 10% co-insurance clause will apply to any total loss, fire or theft claims for any campervans valued £60,000-75,000
The Camplify damage protection cover product ensures that you are fully protected for any and all damage that may occur while your van is on hire. Prices start at £15 per day for Drive, and 4% of the total hire for Stay and Deliver, and you only pay when your van is out on hire.
The Camplify Flexible policy damage protection cover works on a day hire basis and is in place for a full day (12pm to 12pm). Drop off and pick up times can be agreed with the Hirer.
Please note: Camplify is working hard to secure damage protection cover to cover towing caravans and trailers (a product not currently available in the UK market). Because of this, caravans and trailers can only be able to be hired out for "drop-offs" (the owner delivers the van and this cannot be moved). It's a very popular option for festivals, extra storage or accommodation space (especially during Christmas or other popular holidays) and for stays at holiday parks.
