How to block handover days on your calendar

The "Available but no handover" feature allows you to keep your van available for hire during periods when you are unable to facilitate a handover or return. This ensures your listing remains visible in search results for longer bookings while preventing a hire from starting or ending on specific days.

Why use blocked handover days?

There are times when you are happy for your van to be out on a booking, but your personal schedule prevents you from being present for the beginning or end of a trip. By selecting this option, your van stays active on the platform, allowing you to secure bookings that span across those dates without requiring your physical presence on the restricted days.

How hirers see your availability

When a hirer views your listing calendar, days with no handover will be marked with a small red dot in the corner of the date. This notifies the hirer that a booking cannot commence or conclude on that specific day, though the day remains available as part of a longer hire period.

Steps to set up no handover days

1. Log in to your account and head to your Calendar.

2. Highlight the dates you wish to update by clicking and dragging across the calendar.

3. From the menu options, select Available but no handover.

4. Click Save.
